Stiq gives your community a home of its own — no accounts, no sign-ups, and no company in between. The relay runs on hardware you choose, and the door opens one way: with an invitation from you. If you didn't invite them, they aren't in the room.
No accounts
No email, no phone, no password. The key is generated on the member's device and never leaves it.
Invisible until invited
The relay’s onion address requires Tor v3 client authorization: without the key tucked inside an invite, it answers nothing at all. A community that can’t be found can’t be knocked on.
Tor, or nothing
The relay exists only as a Tor v3 onion. There is no clearnet address, and the app has no clearnet fallback.
Blind write permits
Posts, votes and comments each spend a one-time, blind-signed permit — proof the writer belongs, issued in a form that never names its holder.
An append-only record
Moderation is a record, not a delete key. Every hide, tag and note lands on a timeline any member can open and read back.
No telemetry
No analytics, no crash reporting, no phone-home. The app talks to your relay over Tor, and to nothing else at all.
One silo per community
Each community gets its own encrypted store on the device. The identity you use in one is not linkable to the one you use in another.
Yours to fork
MIT, and all of it public — the relay, the client, the dashboard and the installer. Read it, change it, run your own.
